Adam joined the team at First Baptist in June 2017.  He is currently a graduate student at Baylor University and Truett Seminary, pursuing a Master of Music in Church Music and a Master of Divinity.  He graduated from Baylor University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Music in Church Music, while also minoring in religion. Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Adam quickly fell in love with the exciting opportunities at Baylor, becoming involved in the Baylor Men’s Choir, the BRH Choir, the A Cappella Choir, and the Church Music office. In his spare time, he likes to sing (obviously), write music, and watch tons of football (cheering on the Baylor Bears, Navy Midshipmen, and Baltimore Ravens).

Adam’s favorite hymn is “It Is Well With My Soul” since it points to peace in the midst of trials. One of his favorite Scripture passages also emphasizes this truth: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

Adam is engaged to Kelsey Kipp, a senior Choral Music Education major at Baylor. Adam and Kelsey are so excited to meet and build relationships with the community of believers gathered in Valley Mills
